Pre-Purchase Housing Workshop
A course designed for first-time homebuyers or individuals who have not recently purchased a home. This course provides participants with step-by-step information in preparation for home buying and homeownership. Participants get an understanding of lending requirements and how to financially maintain their home once they own it.

Foreclosure Intervention and Prevention Workshop
This workshop addresses the nature of mortgage defaults, what causes them and how to prevent them. It also covers the foreclosure timeline and the methods of negotiating with servicers and banks once default has occurred. Mitigation tools are discussed as are programs or agencies offering help.

Reverse Mortgage Counseling Workshop
This workshop is an impartial introduction to Reverse Mortgages and the counseling required to obtain these mortgages. Workshop information provides participants with basic understandings of loan qualification requirements, costs, possible benefits and drawbacks, options and alternatives. Please note: counseling certification requires independent counseling. No certificate is offered for this workshop
